Alex has spent most of her life in the UK, though since 2007, she has spent considerable time in France, where her family now lives. Alex’s work in leadership development and coaching takes her back to the UK on a regular basis, and she works with clients in the public, not for profit, and private sectors.Since 2000, Alex has divided her time between 1:1 coaching and leadership/organisational development workshop activity. What really gives her joy is helping people to increase awareness of self and others, so that they can get the most out of themselves, their teams and as a consequence help their organisation to succeed.
The vast majority of Alex’s group work comes in the form of bespoke, tailored projects, so research in to the root cause of the specific issue, is critical before developing a solution. Likewise, when coaching, Alex aims to help the coachee to reach an understanding of her/his situation, in order to move towards a realistic outcome. Alex often works with leaders and managers to help them develop coaching skills, which they can use when working with their team members and colleagues. She has a Master of Philosophy degree in Training and Development, a Diploma in Training Management, and is qualified to use psychometric tests to Bristish Psychological Society Levels A and B (including MBTI, OPQ, 16PF). She is a published author – ‘The Z-A of Coaching’, ‘The Leadership Workout’ and ‘The Coaching Workout’. Alex also has a B.A. Degree in Creative Arts, specialising in Drama and Dance.Outside work, Alex loves to dance the Argentine Tango, and she also sings in French and English.
